Welcome Mr. Jackson’s Joule Crew!
Hello 7th/8th grade students and families,
I was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, and grew up playing sports, mainly baseball. I studied broadcast journalism at the University of Maryland, where I also found my calling in education through leading a college success program for students of diverse backgrounds.
I began my teaching journey in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and for the past nine years, I’ve taught in Baltimore City Public Schools. I’m now thrilled to bring that experience to KIPP DC Innovate, where I look forward to building strong relationships and helping every student grow both academically and personally.
Outside of school, I’m a proud dad to my son, Miles, and share my home with a dog and a cat. I also love to travel and have two big goals: to visit every Major League Baseball stadium and explore all of the modern wonders of the world. I'm excited to join the KIPP DC Innovate community this year!
